Houston we have a problem: there's ice

OMG
almost crashed this morning...
close to my house, there's roundabout (rotunda in PT :p) and a cargo van started dancing in front of me, it almost tip over.

When I went to brake, my car rear started dripping away, and the ABS kicked in allowing me to drive away from the truck.

With my car stopped, I looked at the street and it was filled with ice... no wonder :S

waking up with no electric power

What a start of week, and winter too...

Since my radio/alarm clock died a few weeks ago, I've been using my Android and my old SE K600i as my alarm clock...
Since this morning there was no electric power, I'm glad I was using battery powered devices to take me out of bed.
Once I got out of my warm couching I heard my UPSs beeping and a few neighbour alarms, realising I had no power. 
I went downstairs to see if teh circuit board was OK, and brought up two flashlights.

I had then to dress by the light of a small led lantern (a two year old gift with very little use), and breakfast by fluorescent lantern.
Then to manually open the outside gate (no power remember ?!), and take the two cars blocking my way :(

Well, at least there's little traffic and I got early at work.

Lets see what the rest of the day has in store for me!
